The former main event, which was to feature Craig “Farmer” Brown (7-3) versus Chase Degenhardt (6-1), fell apart due to an injury to Degenhardt. Following the withdrawal of his opponent, Brown declined a chance at redemption against Hinchliffe, choosing instead to focus on an upcoming January clash with UFC veteran Jason “Dooms” Day (19-11).
